"I started out in one of the original cabins. My toilet didn’t work so the staff put me up in a room at the lodge. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. The staff went above and beyond to see that my stay was enough to rank a return visit in the future. I can say that I will definitely be back again. "

"Hotel was good. Location was not. Not the Hotels fault. When booking online in the Hotels app, I put in Pikesville KY and searched. Second choice was this hotel. But it was in Paintsville KY 40 miles away in the wrong direction. I rechecked the app and it did this consistently offering hotels that were many miles away from where I entered. I understand in a small town area like this there may be few choices, but it should tell you that these choices were not in the city you choose. "
