"I was really impressed with this hotel. The rooms are clean. The pool was nice. I really enjoyed being able to swim to get some exercise during a conference. And I love that they used their amazingly decorated restaurant for our breakfast venue. It was just really nice and felt elevated. The bed was very comfortable in the room, quiet. I had a really good sleep here. The price was really low, so you just never know what to expect. Looking out the window at the other hotel across the canal I could see that they were empty, but this hotel is very full and yet still well run and quiet. Obviously different business plans. I feel very welcomed and really enjoyed this place. Well done."

"Beautiful hotel grounds with a lovely outdoor pool and hot tub. Every evening there’s a happy hour and free glass of wine from their winery. Short walk to downtown Palisades and local restaurants. Staff is friendly and seem to enjoy working at the hotel. Free hot breakfast has fresh fruit and eggs. My one small complaint is the beds are hard and not very comfortable. "

"The rooms were spacious and well kept. The bathrooms were clean and roomy. The “queen size” beds were definitely NOT Queen size! The beds were tiny and hard, and our toilet flushed like a monster being poked with a stick! Other than that we had a great stay!"

"I thought that the warm cookie provided upon check in was unique. Keeping in mind that they just exited what is known by the locals as the "mud season" the carpets and lower 10 - 12 inches of the perimeter interior walls were extremely dirty. Our room had a strong musty odor. Also, after brushing my teeth before going to bed and leaving my toothbrush in the bathroom overnight, I awoke to the bristles of my toothbrush being a pink shade. Researched possible causes finding can be due to an airborne bacteria. Can provide photos of the toothbrush upon request if needed. I was very disappointed especially as I would have left upon discovering these issues had the room rate not been nonrefundable."

"Breakfast had a good variety, the tea selection was GREAT!! The area was clean and parking was easy."

"Paid also 300 dollars for the room which i guess is the going rate. There was no coffee maker in the room. There was one in the lobby but that can be inconvenient. Also, the beds sat on oversized frames which both my wife and i banged into several times. I know that is somewhat on me but when it's late and dark it was easy to forget. There were cushions on corners so I'm sure we weren't the only ones."
