The Wildrock Cottage is a custom home completed in 2022. Tucked away on 3 acres in the hills surrounding Woodcreek Lake, this industrial/farmhouse Cottage is unlike any other! Located just 7 minutes from city limits, this Cottage was designed with comfort and style in mind. Beautiful reclaimed barnwood ceilings and trim and concrete floors screams cozy!

The home includes luxury bedding, a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, two work spaces and a private full front porch with porch swing.

Family Get-a-way.

We had a wonderful peaceful stay. The Cottage is very welcoming and very tastefully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. We are checking our calendars to see when we could possibly return.

Great location and super private.

This is a great place to enjoy a quiet getaway with your family. They also provide great outdoor space to relax and let your kids and or pets play in the yard. We hope to stay again in the future.

Wildrock cottage

This was an amazing place. Our family enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Loved that this place was pet friendly, even provided food and water bowls for our 4 legged family member! Will definitely stay here again.

Great place

We were in town from for a wedding. Wildrock Cottage was great compared to the hotel options available. The property was clean and looked just like the pictures. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had.

hiking getaway

This cottage was wonderfully secluded and felt so homey and comfortable. Absolutely loved that we were able to bring our fur babies so they could enjoy the great outdoors with us! Will stay again if we make another trip to Kentucky! Thank you!!

Beautiful Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at Wildrock Cottage. It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Came for hiking and found beautiful trails. Wish we had another week.

Beautiful Property!

Beautiful property, exactly as listed. The host thought of everything and had many little “extras” to show that they value those that choose to stay with them. Peaceful and Quiet~ the front porch is perfect to rock babies and the back deck is wonderful for old friends to “remember when” and catch up.

Perfect birthday getaway!

Perfectly secluded, cozy cottage to get away from the world! My husband & I brought our dogs with us to celebrate my birthday. The host thought of all the details, even doggie bowls! Plush, comfortable bed. Great shower! And nice outdoor areas for relaxing & taking in nature! Book it! You won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful home

Wish we could have stayed longer, it was a very peaceful setting, and quite remote to get to. We stayed here overnight on our way to moving to to FL and only had one night. We had two trucks and uhaul trailers the roads and entrance to the home were tight and I was very nervous at times but we made.

Quiet getaway in the mountains

We loved this property! Not only was it beautiful, we loved that it was so family friendly. We played the heck out of some Clue! 🙈 The house was very clean and stocked well! Communication was great! We loved the location and the peace that came with it. We saw another review complaining about the road size, we have a mid size suv and were fine. There were plenty of places one could pull over to let someone by if needed. Definitely worth the stay and hope to be back one day!

Wildcat ride

I was very impressed with the cottage. It was very nice and comfortable. It had all of the essentials you would need. We were in London to ride at the Wildcat ATV park, wished it was closer. Getting in the driveway with a 20 foot trailer was impossible without going down the narrow road and turning around. You are unable to get to the park without driving down a highway. Also use Apple Maps for directions, not google maps.

Location information needs help.

Bad news: narrow roads, have to get out of way for oncoming traffic twice. Unable to stay due to narrow road and our rental big SUV, left immediately, stayed elsewhere. Owner did not respond to most of my inquiries. Good news: clean, looked like pics.

Felt at home

We truly enjoyed our week stay. We cooked breakfast and dinner ever day and had every thing we needed, and it was nice to have plenty of K-cups that the host supplied for his guests. This is a pet friendly rental and our dogs loved it.. the younger one loved running around the property and play ball or just lay in the yard and chewing on a stick. The living room furniture is supper comfortable. This home has amazing water pressure for a nice shower after a long waterfall hike. We would absolutely rent this home again… my husband even said … maybe the owner would sell this home. Thanks for allowing us to stay and enjoy our week in Kentucky ( we did spend one day in the Smoky Mountains it is only 2 1/2 hours away)

We had an incredible stay at this charming little cottage in the woods! Nestled in a peaceful, secluded area, it was the perfect place to stay while exploring the area for a future move! The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I loved waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying my morning coffee on the porch while taking in the beautiful wooded surroundings. The hosts were fantastic—super responsive and thoughtful, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Even made a trip out when we had a minor electrical issue! If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat in Kentucky, this is the place to be. Some notes/FYI’s: Entrance of the drive way is a bit of a sharp steep turn so large vehicles may have trouble turning and low riding vehicles may scrape. One bedroom located at end of small hall did not have a door or curtain for additional privacy.

Meeting halfway…

What an amazing place to unwind after a chaotic summer. Background is necessary for this one; myself, my wife, and our 2 sons are stationed in middle Georgia. Family is mostly in Ohio. Our boys went to visit family for a month in Ohio and school is starting soon in Georgia. It’s time for the dreaded 12 hour drive back to reality. Instead of going crazy, like we always do, the wife and I made a business decision to meet halfway and spend a relaxing night in Kentucky. What. A. Great. Idea. This is the place to unwind, relax, listen to the birds, go on a hike, fire up the grill with your neighbor coming to see “what’s for dinner?” This was a muuuuch needed 24 hour getaway from the hustle and bustle. The home is amazingly put together. Every detail makes it feel like you’re in a Hallmark movie. The scenery is brilliant. The rocking chairs on the porch could be spent all day in. It’s the middle of nowhere with every creature comfort you could think of. Thank you sooooo much to our hosts!!! We hope to make this an annual tradition.
