"I didn’t like that the pool bar was closed and open on Friday for a limited time. I had some problems with my room and didn’t understand how housekeeping didn’t address. However, when I did they took care of the problem quickly. I found some of the staff not to be friendly. They ran out of towels for the pool quickly. Overall, my room view was breathtaking and I enjoyed watching the sun rise, water waves and the pool area was a delight but they could benefit from some lights. Once it got dark, you felt like you were in a nursing home. It was very quiet. Places to eat was in walking distance or you took car services . The friendly staff helped you with certain things. There was no ice on any floors. You had to go to the little bar on the ground floor and asked for ice."

"South Point resort is very nice, but it is far from the calming beaches and activities in Barbados. They don’t offer complementary shuttle service to the beaches or airport thus far each taxi or Uber is 30 US dollars per Way. If this hotel is in a different location, it will be every bit of a five. If you’re looking for tranquility and to stay in your room then yes it’s a five but if you’re looking for other activities, you probably wanna stay more inland. Hotel staff is excellent and so is the food."

"This was my first time in Barbados & my stay at South Gap Hotel was excellent! I booked a week vacation in honor of my birthday . All of the staff members were very nice & friendly, the rooms are very tidy/clean. The restaurant and bar on property is amazing & reasonably priced! Try the Bajan breakfast, very filling & delicious. The location of the hotel is also convenient, only 15 minutes away from the airport & nearby a lot of activities! I would stay at SouthGapHotel again when I return to Barbados again . I enjoyed my entire time there!"
