"Prefect for a weekend away! The shack had everything we needed. The loft bedroom was a hit for our 7 year old. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets. We were able to walk into town and also explored the old rail lines. West side deli was prefect to sit outside and eat lunch. Quick drive to Loyalsock for hiking. Make sure you pack warm, it gets chilly! Deck was great for a cup of coffee in the morning. Really a cool little spot especially if anyone in your family loves trains. "

"I wasn’t very happy with this house. We booked a Vrbo because we didn’t want to have to worry about a host invading our privacy turns out the host stays right across the street which was awkward. Also some of the amenities listed were not working like the pinball machine was broken and the dryer we had an event to go to and we started washing our clothes and we had no way to dry them until eventually the host stopped by to request We not touch his Amazon packages he was having delivered the next day to the house. He then mentioned oh there should have been a note about the broken dryer and see if we could walk across the street and use the dryer on his property which we had to since it was our special occasion clothes we had to dry. The floors were also completely uneven everywhere in the house, which was very disorienting I mean, extreme changes and lumps in the floor. there was parts of the wooden floor that was splintering up one piece splintered about 6 inches long and as I have 2 toddlers and that was very dangerous and we had to cover it with the bath rugs. None of the doors actually shut all the way so getting privacy within the house including the bathroom was nonexistent. I didn’t feel like it was that clean. for the amount of money that we paid for the house I was expecting a lot more. if you have small children, I would not recommend staying at this house."
