"We decided to get out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday. We have four kids, ages 8-16, and EVERYONE had something to do. From air hockey to the arcade to the myriad of board games throughout the house, there was never a dull moment. We also brought our dog and the fenced in back yard made it easy to let her in and out. The kitchen is fully stocked and there were even drinks and a s’mores package for us upon our arrival. Kristi was an excellent communicator and a wonderful host. Would stay here again. "

"This was the perfect house for my sisters and our husbands to relax, play games, eat and chat. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities, the beds were comfortable and the house was super clean. We even arrived to a delicious plate of homemade cookies! The house itself is very unique and filled with beautiful vintage (but comfortable) furniture and objects. We had the good fortune of meeting the home’s owner who gave us a lovely and interesting view into the history of the home. WiFi was readily available and the house was pet-friendly. The house is on a somewhat busy road, but is adjacent to a quieter road, so walking our dog was easy and safe. There are plenty of restaurants (both fast food and dine-in) nearby and we ate at a couple of them. We enjoyed our stay here so much that we’re planning to return in the spring!"

"Nice place. Plenty of restaurants nearby. It is a very nice lake. Stayed here for a Notre Dame game. Easy drive to campus. Only problem was no Ubers/or lifts would come pick us up so we had to drive on game day. Other than that excellent place to stay. "

"Our hostess, Mary Lou, was very accommodating as we were traveling with our two young boys. We were greeted with a warm welcome and immediately felt right at home. Beds were comfy and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend. Thank you for the hospitality! "

"Peaceful “neighborhood” The place was comfortable and had all the things you could even imagine you may want. Nice kitchen space. Open and inviting. The backyard was open and the deck was amazing. Great dock for the kids to fish, swim and hang out on. We toured the area and had fun with some day trips to Shipshewana and Lake Michigan- but we really didn’t need to, this cottage had everything we needed for a vacation getaway and Dwayne was an amazing host! "
