"This was an extremely affordable place to suit our last-minute decision to stay in Koshigoe. The room was great, everything was pretty basic but for the price we paid it was more than enough. "Overall, we had a great stay at Rakuten Stay Fuji View Hakone, and would definitely recommend it.” The heated floors, tatami room, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, and projector for movies and music made the space feel cozy and thoughtful. The indoor and outdoor hot spring baths were a real highlight. The location is super convenient, close to the bus station, restaurants, and shops, which made everything easy. Check-in was smooth, and the instructions were clear enough that we didn’t need to contact the host. A couple of small things could be improved, though. We did notice some dog hair left behind, so a bit more attention to cleaning would make a big difference. We were also excited about the Mount Fuji view, but the trees blocked most of it from our floor. It would be helpful if the listing set clearer expectations about that. Even so, the stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and next time we come back to Japan, we’d love to stay longer and hopefully enjoy a better view."

"Decent place, felt a little awkward vibe wise at times and the area always felt a little unsafe at night. Room was alright, having to ask to change sheets for longer stays was annoying, realistically that should just be on a rota. Breakfast was included at a very low price according to the booking, but it isn’t actually included and the breakfast options are pricey add-ons."
