- New to the market is this fabulous 2 bed apartment with underground, private parking in the heart of Durham City Centre.
On entry to the apartment is a family bathroom and corridor leading to the twin bedroom. Off to the left is a large, open plan living room, kitchen and dining area with a fantastic spiral staircase leading up to a mezzanine with small couch/sofa bed (which can be available on request for £50) and door leading to the master bedroom with ensuite.
The apartment is situated on Old Elvet and the market place is just minutes walk from the front door. There are lots of shops and pubs on the doorstep and the Science Site, Bill Bryson Library, Hild Bede, Durham Cathedral and Castle are all within easy walking distance.

Very convenient location- a little TLC inside would help.
The flat is super convenient for all that Durham has to offer. There is a great selection of bars and restaurants and fantastic sites to visit. A very useful parking space was really useful.
The decoration inside the flat is good however the bathrooms and kitchen could do with some attention. The hot water was not much more than a trickle that made showering challenging. The kitchen equipment was lacking - only 1 water glass and mug- but overall a pleasant stay.
Be aware of the church bells striking all through the night. A little loud when you have to have the windows open because it was so hot.

Comfortable and great location!
We were quite happy in this apartment for a week while my husband attended a conference and the rest of us explored Durham. The location was fantastic - with nearby restaurants and grocery - and very near the center of town. Our mapping software stated that every walk was "mostly flat" which was misleading to someone who lives where everything truly is flat - but we enjoyed walking across the river to explore the castle and cathedral! The only real challenge is that my husband is 6'7" tall and he had to be careful to not hit his head on the spiral staircase when entering the living area.
