"The front desk staff was so rude"

"Really nice hotel. Every staff member wss friendly that i encountered. The breakfast was well stocked. They even had turkey bacon and chicken sausage which is rare. I don't eat pork or beef so I really appreciated that. The room was clean and beds were made daily. The hotel is dog friendly. Its also very close to supermarket and ridge hill shopping mall. The only issue i have is the carpets in the room. I absolutely hate carpet in hotels. It looks dirty and hard to keep clean. But overall, a great spot to rest."

"Although the apt was cute, there is no LAUNDRY even though there is a photo that shows a washer. I was constantly harassed by the upstairs neighbor's children running back and forth from 745am until 10pm. The "landlord" with bangs yelled at me for parking in the spot in the driveway, even though I was told I take one spot, and the upstairs people take one spot. He yelled "park on the street!" which is not "with parking" as per the ad. Although this was supposedly settled, a week later, I received a text about the same thing. Do not advertise that a property has "parking" and then the "landlord" yells at you for parking there. Also, the check in process was horrible. The information was withheld until 1 hour before check in, thus I was late. It was unclear which apt was mine. It just said "apt 1, use code...." so the doorknob with #s was on the 1st floor (basement). 1st the code did not work. Then they gave me another code and I walked in on someone staying u til April 15th. Then I am told to go upstairs. Ok, then there is a MASTER lock box, which again, the code does not work. I go all over the place. I finally see a blacked out small window which I eventually figured out was a keypad. But since no one meets you, and this was not described, I was running up and downstairs for like 15 minutes. Once inside, the apt is nice, but the blinds are chipped and broken, curtains thin, and no way to darken the room for sleep. I had to use my car shades and a garbage bag. The beds sink. "

"We were very disappointed. Listing said no smoking.There was a sign stating that right above the ashtray. The room smelled of stale smoke and there were burn holes in the sheet. The bathrm was clean but the room was very dirty. I had to wipe down dressers before I put items on them.The rag was very dirty. I have a photo showing this. I wiped the shelf under the air conditioner and that one was black. The set up was unique. A code to get into foyer of house. Then through a curtain to your sitting area. Then a coded lock to get into your bedrm. No deadbolt lock on inside of bedrm door. Bathrm across hall. Off street parking was nice."

"Our host was great and so was the apartment. We were snowed in and our host got our rental car dug out in short order.Only 4 stars for two reasons I should have spotted when scouting a place: it’s about 25-30 steps up to the apartment so the older you are the tougher those can feel. Also should’ve noticed but there’s no microwave.Great location and our host was very accommodating "

"The house was very clean and the areas was quiet too. We had a nice spot to park the car. The staff was calling and checking on me if I didn’t have any issues with the check in. They were available all the time. The only thing we will need next time if possible is the washer and dryer and extra towels because we were 5 and only got 3 towels. But overall we enjoyed the stays."
