"We went midweek in july 2025. Plenty of on street parking, with a blue badge is free. Nice shopping street, a stones throw from the sea front and beach and the station. For steam trains. Hotel was lovely, renovated, very nicely done. We booked deluxe double, it was very big, really lovely, sea front , perfect. Minehead is close to the moor, short drive up to viewing points. Excellent fish and chips next to the station. Not been to minehead for decades and was pleasantly surprised how nice theyve made it especially the sea front. All dog friendly including the hotel. Would recommend. "

"It was a stop over. We had to park in a public car park over the road for a small price. We were a bit nervous of leaving our holiday car in the car park. We shared 3 generous starters for a very reasonable light supper. Our breakfast was equally generous and very well cooked. The cooked breakfast was the main thing. Not so much choice aside from it."

"Lovely hotel, family room was clean and spacious, although there was only 1 double socket in the room being used for the TV and kettle. Luckily I took an extension lead otherwise we wouldn't have been able to charge our phones (I know, 1st world problems!) Restaurant was lovely, cooked and continental breakfast had everything you need. Overall fantastic stay."

"This was our first stay at the Northfield Hotel and likely won't be our last. The building is fantastic, beautiful, spacious and has lovely character. The parking was easy in the Hotels car park and the garden was incredible to walk around & so well looked after. The hotel also boasts a fantastic pool, jacuzzi and gym. We loved the jacuzzi. With Minehead beach literally a 2 minute walk as well as the main High Street just a stones throw away it was so convienent and nice not to have to drive unnecessarily. Plenty of shops nearby, restaraunts, pubs and more to keep all entertained. The hotel staff were amazing; inviting, friendly, smartly dressed, polite and couldn't do enough for us and our small dog. That is another reason we chose the North Field Hotel as it is wonderful being able to include our dog on our holidays as he is as much a member of our family as children would be. There was plenty to keep him entertained with the large garden to explore and the beach has a year round dog friendly space for him to go running and digging on. He also loved his sausage breakfast supplied free of charge by the Hotal staff. Highly recommend. "

"Lovely pub/restaurant. Room was lovely and spacious very comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant steaks were cooked to perfection. Breakfast was very good."

"New owner, is turning the business around, couldn’t fault the ambience, service and overall attitude of the staff and owner, the decor is a little tired but given time this will improve with the ambition of the owner. Recommended "
