"Landlady went beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Incredible food and sent us off in the morning with complimentary food water for our trek. Extremely friendly/welcoming atmosphere!

"Very disappointing stay ,
We arrived after a 9 hour drive , when we arrived the cottage wasn’t cleaned and no bedding ,
We rang both Wayne and Karen , we decided to go buy some bedding , on route Karen did ring back to be fair and apologised saying she was told we was due on the 6th , (day of departure,)
Went to the pub for an hour and Karen had the cottage ready ,
I thanked her by tx but no communications back , nothing from Wayne all week ,
I would of expected a follow up chat asking if...

Bed in double room was very comfy
Kitchen was well stocked
Cons -
Chalet smelt very damp and musty
Daughter slept on sofa due to strong smell in twin room
Handles missing on some windows so couldn’t be opened .
Marks and stains on twin bedroom wall, little table and sofa .
No hot water connected to bathroom basin.
Bathroom needs deep clean
Bathroom door lock doesn’t work
Had to buy towels as chalet ones smelt after 1 use
Twin bedroom door sticks daughter couldn’t get out
No mobile...

"The cottage was very comfortable, clean & well equipped. We found it very useful travelling with two little ones to have the use of travel cot, bed rail, highchair & toys even bath toys!The beautiful & quiet setting was wonderful. The owners have made a great effort to provide everything a family group with young children would need. Excellent. Jane & family."
