"The house was clean and comfortable and had most things we needed Would have been nice to have a teapot but managed ok Bathroom could do with updating a bit, flooring was worn and starting to raise in the edges, shower head wasn’t the best , water was spraying out of the side and the bathroom wastes were corroded. Plenty of hot water though and the heated bathroom cabinet mirror was a bonus after you had a shower The double bed was comfortable, but the springs in the mattress were noisy, something I’m not used to Didn’t use the outside garden because of the adverse weather, but might look a bit better if the rubble alongside the house was removed or tidied up Enjoyed our stay and the house was big enough and adequate for our needs The house was in a good location and the on site parking was good"

"It was a beautiful room only drawback was 3rd floor being 82 &84 not as easy I think there were only a couple of rooms up there but worth it for such a lovely room. It was easy to park in street but would of preferred private car park but it was a nice quiet area, we didn’t use the bar but it looked nice if we’d been there longer I would of gone and sat in there, staff helped take our bags up to our room very helpful. 👍"

"Beautiful building and lovely view across the ferry port and across the water. Lugging a suitcase up stairs was a bit difficult as there is no ramp or lift."

"I spent a full week at the Weatheroak Studio Annex while I explored the Cowal Peninsula by bus. The studio flat is small but perfect for a single person or a couple - it has everything you need for your stay: a TV and two armchairs, a small kitchenette, a comfortable double bed and a good shower in the en suite plus the use of the back garden of the main house - a big plus in sunny weather. The annex is tucked away in a very peaceful location down a lane off a side street in Dunoon - the town centre, bus stops and Bishop's Glen are all within an easy walking distance. The owner was very welcoming and checked to make sure I was okay as she was away visiting family for much of the week that I stayed. I enjoyed my stay at the annex and would definitely stay there again if returning to Dunoon so I'm happy to recommend this holiday accommodation to others looking for reasonably priced self-catering accommodation in Dunoon."

"First time we stayed here and won’t be the last ! Already rebooked The apartment is close for everything you need - town- pubs- shops - Morrisons - views - ferries you name it ! Right on the front with spectacular views over the waters and the elevated platform in the bay view window with seats and binoculars is an added bonus for checking out the wildlife. A well equipped kitchen with a great cooker and lots of pans and crockery- but - i would recommend bringing a casserole dish though as I couldn’t find one The garden is beautiful too"

"We were a family of 6 Adults 3 Children and 2 Dogs and the house had plenty of room for all of us. The kids enjoyed the chute in the garden and the tree house. We found some lovely walks up around the house too and it isn't too far down to the centre and water. We did walk back up a couple of times but some bits are quite steep for people who aren't in good health. All in all we had the best time making lovely memories and the house was the main part of that. Amanda was available via phone to speak to if you have any questions snd was very friendly."

"Had a great break and apartment spacious and very clean. Would only say can do with upgrading as seating not very comfortable after an hour or so. Pillows same, beds not too comfy, to our preference. Flat was quite central, and our host amazing at communication and so helpful. Wouldn't hesitate in staying again as terrific big flat."
