"Jackie is a fabulous hostess, she made sure our stay was unforgettable in a good way. Room was warm, clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable.. great to have the only twin room. Great shower, warm towels on heated rail. Breakfast was perfect. The Cedars Guest House is situated in a great central place, we parked our car and didn’t need to drive until leaving for home. We will definitely book again the next time we’re visiting Dunoon. Thank You "

"Family rooms could do with a bit of refurb and bathrooms defo need updating. Shower head black mould and water sprayed everywhere, so did not use shower and had to have a quick bath. Staff were really nice"

"Everything about this hotel was lovely. The location is just fab and the décor delightful. Rooms are smart and the owners so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent! This hotel it was so handy close to the centre the centre just 4 minutes walk and there was ample parking too. Finally before you leave take your camera and head upstairs to the lounge area you will get the most amazing photos from the huge bay window looking out over the water. I'll definitely go back :-)"

"Had a great break and apartment spacious and very clean. Would only say can do with upgrading as seating not very comfortable after an hour or so. Pillows same, beds not too comfy, to our preference. Flat was quite central, and our host amazing at communication and so helpful. Wouldn't hesitate in staying again as terrific big flat."

"Bring some warm clothing. Heat is run a couple hours in the morning and a couple at night. The landlord was friendly."

"My dive group reported that the accommodation was well appointed, good size living area and the fire was brilliant in the cold weather. Decent sized bedrooms. The sofa bed is quite small they said, it would be quite something to fir 2 persons on it, perhaps 2 kids. Nice to have off-street parking too. We will send small groups here again."

"The apartment was very nice and would be perfect for a family of 3 or 4 with kids. The bathroom is much smaller than the pictured showed and the internet/wifi was extremely slow. The 2 bad compliants I have is of the internet being slow and the dresser in the room with the two beds is not contacted to the wall. It fell on mh 3 year old but thankfully the bed stopped it from being 100% on him. The location is up the road from town and it does rest on a huge uphill so be pepared to breath heavy when going to and from. We would recommend this apartment though "

"STUNNING location and close to the town centre, but the cleaning of the property let the place down. BIG cobwebs hanging down in downstairs rooms and hallway. Dirty pots in cupboards. Roasting tins rusty and not fit for purpose. Cutlery drawer dirty. Dishwasher needed a salt and rinse through. "
