"Driving down the long drive the castle comes into view and its breathtaking! Vinny on reception was incredibly welcoming. Our room was phenomenal. There was nothing we would change. We ate in the restaurant on site on the first night and the food was outstanding. Breakfast each day was wonderful! To get into Edinburgh we were going to use the Park and Ride but Vinny said we could park at the end of the castle driveway and get the number 3 bus from there (turn left and the stop is there on your side of the road). This was a gamechanger. The buses come regularly and take around 30 minutes to get into Edinburgh. Bus back stops just opposite Melville Castle driveway then its a quick hop in the car up the driveway to the castle itself! This was a wonderful and relaxing stay in a castle of all places! Highly recommend. We will definitely be back. Oh and literally everyone was so friendly, not just in Melville Castle, but Edinburgh itself :)"
