"We selected this property to accommodate a large group for our daughter’s wedding reception in Driftwood. It was an expensive property but the pictures looked nice and the number of guests held met our needs. It was not what we had expected and had many issues such as, cracked and loose tiles on the stairs that posed a safety hazard for our elderly guests, no heat the first night, cold showers the entire 3 night stay, trash under and in the couches, no sheets for the sleeper sofas, no top sheets on any beds, and no blankets. The weather was cooler so we needed to use the heaters. The main heater set off an alarm at 1:30 am along with a burning smell. After 15 minutes we discovered how to turn the alarm off and had to turn the heater off completely. The two mini split units couldn’t be used because they were full of dirt and dust. We had called the property manager shortly after checking in with our issues and concerns. She came out the following day around 11am. This pushed back plans we had for the morning. She had an hvac company out to clean and service the units and a plumber out for the hot water. We were told there is an issue with the design that was causing the problem. We all took cold showers and we would only use 1 of the 3 showers at a time. I’m grateful the manager came and brought some blankets and picked up trash around the property. It was disappointing they didn’t offer any refund after several requests. Paid a lot and didn’t come close to our expectations."

"This place is very well setup, quiet and secluded. The other rentals on this property are near each other, but they did a great job spacing them out, making it feel secluded, and fencing off your area for privacy. Directions were easy to follow getting here. Everything inside was very well setup and everything we needed for our stay in the area with our pups. Price was good. Would highly recommend this location if you want to visit the Wimberly area, but don't want to stay in town."

"This place could use a little love, just needs a few cosmetic fixes but who would notice with the beautiful scenery. It is a gorgeous property with a nice pool, hot tub and fire pit.Nice and big, lots of rooms for everyone to sleep and the property is big and felt very secluded, we had such an amazing time here! They really thought of everything from extra blow up mattresses, crib sheets, baby or dog gate, fully stocked kitchen we literally wanted for nothing.We spent most of our time around the fire pit, lots of sticks and logs on property to burn and made s’mores!Will I come back here? No, so may cute towns to explore. Would I stay at another Avant property? 1000% yes, I am already searching for the next one. We had an amazing time "
