Single room basic

Not like the photo in the single room, up 2 flights of stairs above a pub but quiet. Basic bed with kettle. Could do with painting replaced as very old. Ok for one night after a concert as beside connelly station if needing train and central to city centre.

My room (#4) was small, but large enough for 1 person (just me). Bed was comfortable, shower had good water pressure, room and bathroom was clean (thank you!). A couple of concerns: I received only 1 small shampoo bottle for my 7-day stay. I appreciated that no one came in the room to clean, empty trash, make the bed - I like that strangers do not enter my room....but you delivered towels and TP to the room, but never shampoo! I bought some. I was also told by several people (taxi drivers and tour leaders) that this area is unsafe in the evenings. Please beware of this area.

Staff very friendly, rooms clean, bed comfortable, drink discounts was helpful. Could not hear music from the bar below which was great. Good location to Connolly station. Room was roasting with the thermostat off and opening the windows. Too warm to sleep in or sit in the room would need an air cooler. That’s my only negative

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. However, I wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers as there was a lot of noise from both the trains passing by and the nearby pubs. The trains would occasionally rattle the whole apartment!

Lots of pre stay communication. Check in was at the bar. Quick uncomplicated. Be aware stairs are steep and narrow. No lifts if there are mobility issues. One of the bar staff kindly helped with luggage Room wa s spacious. Great amenities: toiletries. Biscuits tea coffee milk etc. lovely huge bed Room was so hot though. July Thankfully Malloys provided a much appreciated industrial size fan that did the trick. The pub is in a popular area and a lot of street noise can be heard especially if windows are open - heat But nothing that can’t be overcome with ear plugs and an eye mask. Great Central location Tip if bringing a car park at Connollys Station 5 mins walk. 19 euro for 2 full days - great stay for Dublin and the point arena.
