The staff was very helpful with getting us checked in a smidge earlier than our check in time and for explaining how to travel the city. I recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something close to Temple bar area but just far enough away from the tourism.

Rooms are compact but functional. Helpful staff. Good location, with easy walking to both riverfront and city center. One major gripe. Several months ago, Ireland reduced Value Added Tax on food items from 13.5% to 9%, yet the Travelodge continues to charge 13.5%. Guests should question!

The receiving staff allowed us to leave our luggage before checkin time while my family explored the area. Also, the host who checked us in juggles things around for us so our three rooms were near each other. Excellent service!
