Lansdowne feels more like family than a hotel stay. It is warm and welcoming . The staff are very friendly and I enjoyed meeting their pets. It is conveniently located within a breathtaking walk of the city center. Absolutley loved my time here.

This hotel is an excellent location. Rooms have all the basics and the staff were super friendly. Best part was the temporary bar and BBQ provided before the rugby game. Great location for access to Avivo stadium and also only 20 minute walk to Grafton St. A real gem.

Staff always courteous. One annoyance was - I booked my stay through Expedia and was given a room only rate, whereas my two colleagues booked directly with hotel and had their full breakfast included in their rate, which was almost identical to what i was charged ?? A further 31 Euro which i assume could have been avoided. Frustrating !!!

The staff and breakfast were top notch. The bed, rooms, hot water faucets were not amazing, but the staff and food made up for the lack of amenities. The guests next to our family were loud, and the staff promptly took care of the complaint. The hotel lobby is charming and in a good location.

We had a very good experience at the Lansdowne Hotel. There was a small mix-up with the check-in time, but the staff handled it professionally and found a great solution, which we really appreciated. The location was convenient—about a 15-minute walk to St. Stephen’s Green and close to a bus stop for easy access to the city center. Comfortable and well-run overall.

Nice place Small clean room which was totally adequate. Great breakfast worth the extra money. I put my breakfast order in and sat a long time as they somehow forgot about me. They were apologetic and nice about it and it really wasn't a big deal...

This was a comfortable hotel with proper beds for all 3 adults in our room. The service was excellent, though there is no transportation to/from the airport provided and it’s a bit far removed from the downtown area. All in all, a lovely place to stay.

Not worth it.

No elevator, no one helped carry multiple bags up and down multiple flights, water in bathroom only trickled out of faucet. After complaining that I’d like a partial refund and asking management to follow up with me, never heard from them. Front desk staff was nice, Cute pub in the basement of the hotel.

Great for (American) Football at Aviva Stadium

We stayed two nights here for an American college football game in Aviva Stadium. The location was great - an easy walk to the stadium and a pleasant walk to the Dublin City center. There was plenty of easy, close street parking (free for the weekend). Had to drag bags up a few stairs, no biggie. Room was smallish but sufficient and comfortable. The tailgate party the hotel hosted before and after the game was a great idea and a lot of fun.

Everything was good. All equipment worked properly, and the room was very clean. But, the staff made the stay great. From checking in to going out of their way to help us while the city was covered in snow. They were our heroes.

The Landsdowne Hotel Stay

Great stay on two different visits during our week stay. The staff is friendly and gave us great service. The breakfast was continental style or you can order from a short menu. The bar areas were very cozy and Irish, We did the dinner Irish House Party show on a Thursday night, the food was good and the show fantastic. We were a thirty minute walking distance to the museums, Trinity College and Temple Bar area as we were out that way for sight seeing. We took a taxi back to the hotel in the evening.
