Adequate but not inspiring.
We chose this hotel for proximity to Temple Bar and local friends, particularly for St. Patrick’s Day. It was okay, certainly a good location, but not quite what we were expecting for the price. We don’t mind an old character bldg, but this was not that well kept up. Bathroom faucets were leaking. Rugs on the stairs were sliding off (safety issue). And the bar/restaurant attached were closed for a reno. It’s not their fault that COVID19 cancelled everything, but it would have been nice if they had offered a discount for returning as certainly what we paid was for the festivity time, which of course didn’t happen, and they didn’t have their typical services available in any case. Only one person on the front desk (although they were mostly helpful), but staff were very minimal. Not sure I’d stay again, think I’d check out other hospitality options first. They could use a definite upgrade there, again, especially for what they are charging.
