Not as good as last time
I booked a twin for myself and my daughter as she had a hospital appointment in Dublin. What i got was a double and when i asked to be moved they said they had no twins left. There was also no room service menu in the room so i had to go down. I also got an unscheduled wake up call at 7.15am asking if i was looking for a hair dryer. NO, no i was not. On the plus side, the bar staff were excellent.
Long weekend in dublin. Great stay and friendly staff. Shower temperature was a little temperamental on the first morning which may be down to number of hotel guests at weekend. Overall very good experience.

The hotel is suitable for the business trip and leisure.. It is not too far from the city with a convenient route of buses. Very specious rooms and very comfortable bed.
The restaurant offers variety of meals and a generous 15% discount for residential guests.
Car Park and wifi internet are offered free of charge. Moreover it closes to the big convenient store, Tesco Express.
This is a nice hotel, good sized rooms, nice bathrooms, clean with great staff and a delicious breakfast. There were some water pressure issues, however, I think if too many showers are running there can be a problem. I stayed two nights and it was a great price.
This is a great hotel. Clean and kept up. Very friendly customer service. We stayed two nights as a quick get away before we moved on to the UK for work. Cabs are VERY expensive so one of the things that makes The Ardmore nice is the bus stop located directly in front. I have found that most of the beds in the many hotels we have stayed at are a bit stiff for my taste but comfortable enough for the price. However IF you want to be in the mix of it all this is not the hotel for you. BUT if you like being just outside it really is a nice place to stay and the bus ride is very easy.

Pleasant staff, clean, good and safe underground parking. One complaint: no alternative to thickish duvet which we found too hot.

OK place, nothing special
Stayed there a night before flying out from the Airport. Set me up with a great taxi for E19. Taxi driver was the coolest guy I met in Ireland telling me jokes and stories.
brilliant hotel in everyway! Staff were very helpful, hotel was nice and clean, food was lovely in the cafe. Only thing i will say the room was a lil hot for my liking but easily fixed by leaving the window open and also as a coffee drinker the coffee in the cafe wasnt very nice but overall i enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Out of the way
We heard they are planning to close this hotel. They put us in a room with windows to the street and we were unable to sleep well. Closing the window didn't make a difference. Finally, on our last night we were able to move. Small room, but clean. Breakfast was so-so. Front staff didn't seem to be that knowledgeable. There is a bus stop across the street, but the return bus stop is about two blocks away.
I really enjoyed my stay here. So many great things to say. First, very affordable. Yes, it's outside the city center, but 2 different buses takes you directly into the city for 2.60 Euro's each way. In 10 minutes you will be right in the center of town. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had breakfast once and i believe it was about 9 euro. It was a good breakfast. Nothing fancy! What i liked best was that staff was friendly and helpful. We went to London for 3 days and only took our carry on. The hotel staff was nice enough to hold our huge suit cases for us since we were coming back to the Ardmore again after our return from London. They were always willing to answer questions and did so with a smile. I did have wifi issues on our return stay but to me it was not a big deal. If wifi is important to you, i recommend you try to get signal as soon as you get into the room , before unpacking, and make sure you have a good connection. Enjoy Dublin.
