"Good room - internet, aircon and hot water all worked well. Iron was broken, but quickly replaced. Restaurant seemed understaffed - tables not cleared, and didn’t open at all one day. Staff friendly but inflexible eg luggage storage or request for slightly later checkout. Complimentary shuttle is a welcome feature, particularly as the hotel’s location isn’t as convenient as some in terms of nearby restaurants etc."

"It was a place to stay, nice service people we couldn’t get plumbing issue on flushing resolved they finally showed up to roomb(probably a front desk follow up issue) we finally kept lid off and tapped the pump in order to get tank to refill the bathroom wide glass sliding door is directly in front of bed and glass window allowing light to filter to bedroom which is ok with one guest but if another guest is sleeping you will have to do your bathroom thing in the dark, elevators and floor entry ways were not so clean but rooms were very clean, quite the presence of homeless around bldg but they seemed harmless"

"We have been there before, which is why we came back. Staff very helpful, professional and friendly. Lobby inviting, pool and pool area, a great place to hang out. The view is perfect- sitting poolside and overlooking Riverwalk, and waterway. The room is spacious, bed is comfortable and our view of waterway was great"

"½ Star — Terrible Stay, Painful Sleep, Weak Breakfast, and Overpriced Parking I stayed at Hyatt House Downtown Tampa expecting a comfortable and reliable hotel experience, especially because the Hyatt name usually carries a certain level of trust. Unfortunately, this stay was extremely disappointing from start to finish, and I honestly would not recommend this property to anyone who values comfort, rest, or basic hospitality. The biggest issue was the bed and pillows. They were unbelievably uncomfortable. My wife and I both woke up with neck pain, and we did not get a single night of good, sound sleep during our stay. When you book a hotel, the most basic expectation is a clean, comfortable place to sleep. This hotel failed badly at that. The mattress felt uncomfortable, the pillows offered no proper support, and every morning we woke up feeling worse than when we went to bed. A vacation is supposed to help you relax, not leave you physically sore. The breakfast was also a major letdown. Calling it breakfast almost feels generous. It felt cheap, poorly maintained, and nowhere near what I would expect from a Hyatt House property in downtown Tampa. The options were disappointing, the quality was poor, and the whole setup felt like an afterthought. For a hotel that charges downtown rates, the breakfast should be much better than what was offered. Then there is the parking. Charging $45 per night for parking is ridiculous. At that point, it feels less like a hotel service and"
