"Only two good points. The towels were the best, extra large and very soft. The breakfast was very good, fresh fruit , real egg omelets , great spread. The place is very unquiet, very old and in bad need of TLC, and major upgrades. Even though the room was clean it's fallen apart. conduit with wiring fallen off the wall. the shower has no place for soap like a tray on the walls. The shampoo and conditioner amenities were all empty. The windows were so dirty, you could hardly see out. It would stretch it to give it 2 stars. Now to the management . When you checkin you get slapped with a $50.00 extra fee that Expedia doesn't tell you. They have you sign to except this calling it a Conservation fee or something. When asked about it I was told it was a "Resort Fee"!! Really a resort fee there is no swimming pool or spa?? Can can you call it a resort fee? It covers your parking, and we give you back a credit for your breakfast. So your breakfast is free!! So what part of the $50.00 is free?? . Now for the big complaint They play music so loud inside the lobby and dining room that I couldn't hear the front desk clerk checking me in and had to ask her to turn the music down. The music is so loud that you can hear it out on Water st. and the parking lot. Who ever owns this place seriously needs to rethink customer service. No one is eating dinner the nights that we were there because of the loud music. This place is falling apart !!! It's a shame, it's in a great location. "
