Beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood

Love the property and the location. Grounds are picturesque with a nice area for outside dining. The location was great-very close to the plaza, but far enough a way to be quiet at night.

The hotel’s main advantage was its location. While the front desk and valet staff were excellent, housekeeping and restaurant/bar service left much to be desired. The restaurant isn’t worth dining at—there are far better and more affordable options in town with superior service. Staff, including their “manager,” seemed overwhelmed, and room cleaning was below standard. Toiletries were practically nonexistent, and I had to call each night just to get tea, as the rooms only provided coffee.

This is a beautiful resort with lots of amenities. The staff was professional and friendly. We ate at Julia for breakfast; the service was impeccable, and the food was excellent. This property is within walking distance to the plaza.

Great location to shopping and dining. Surrounded by galleries. Friendly and helpful staff and great breakfast (make sure it is included as it is expensive). Beautiful grounds around this large property. For the condition of the suite we had, the hotel was overpriced and I would not pay that price for this place again. Website photos of suites were misleading (site shows modern walk-in shower and bath and that is not what we had). We were offered the sought after Julia suite but turned it down as it was not what we were looking for in the experience. Service at the bar and restaurant was okay but not great.

Wonderful staff. Our first night was not what we expected. The room was rather small with a large air conditioning unit inside. It had multiple steps to get up to the room which my husband could not do. They moved us the next morning to a much nicer room with a patio, which rich much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful less than 24 hours at La Posada with our 13year old & 2year old Golden Doodle - love that they allow dogs, have multiple restaurants & a heated saltwater pool & hottub. & it's so pretty!!
