"The hotel is very nice and position excellent. Our room 935 did have its problems. The heating was stuck on max and the radiator cap did not turn it off. The tv remote did not work (I think batteries flat) and there was a wifi blackspot in the main bedroom. I told reception about the issues before i left and so i hope they addressed them, we got in late and were only staying one night so didnt let them know in real time. Wouldn’t let it stop me staying again but should be on a pre-let checklist. The suite could do with a fridge."

"A beautiful building but could do with a refresh on the inside. The sitting rooms were cozy and welcoming but the sofas really needed a clean. Our room was quite dusty, the curtain pelmet had half fallen down and the windows hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while. Took the shine off what was going to be the highlight hotel of our Scottish road trip, as it was the most expensive by far. Because of that, it fell short. "

"My partner and I came here celebrating our engagement with our family, and had a truly wonderful time. The farmhouse was clean, cosy and had amazing views overlooking the loch. It was also fitted out with all the amenities you need — including a fully equipped kitchen, a log-burner fire and three lovely bedrooms, all with a lovely view. There is also a hot-tub and table tennis area, which although we didn't use we think are great additions! It's also so well placed — only a 10 minute drive to Inverness, and a 40 min drive to Fort Augustus on the other side of Loch Ness. It's also very close to the Jacobite Cruise tours that run most days. We were all so sad to leave, would love to stay again."

"We had a brilliant weekend staying at this beautiful cottage just outside Inverness to celebrate my partner’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed. The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had plenty of space for the four of us to relax comfortably. Everything has clearly been thought of. We were welcomed with a lovely breakfast basket, and it was a thoughtful touch to find eggs and butter ready in the fridge for us. It really made us feel at home straight away. We especially loved how private and peaceful the cottage felt, it really made the weekend feel special. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus (once we got the hang of it!), and it felt magical sitting in it while the snow started to fall around us. Such a memorable experience. The location is perfect too, with lots of places of interest nearby to explore during the day, while still feeling like a quiet retreat when you return. We’d absolutely love to come back in the summer to make even more use of the outdoor space and BBQ area. A wonderful stay from start to finish — highly recommended!"
