"Ignore the old reviews- this place has had a makeover and for the price, it’s excellent. You can’t get closer to the beach, the area is quiet but still with enough shops/ cafes and restaurants. Good air con, hot shower with good temperature, clean bedding and room. We stayed here for two nights over new years to head to the FMP, it was about 300 baht ew pp for a taxi there and also about 300 baht pp to the pier - but it’s much nicer than staying in Haad Rin if you’re a couple. "I checked in a bit late, got the key, drop my luggage and went out for diner and drink. When I came back for sleeping I realized that the water in the bathroom was dripping and shower head was broken. The morning after, I asked the lobby to fix those 2 problems, they did it and had a quiet night.
