"I am very very disappointed in this hostel. There were no actual door locks. The property is old and not in good repair and worst of all is that my mattress smelled very strongly of cat urine. Really! They tried to cover it up by hanging a toilet bowl sanitizer on the wall of the room. I removed it because the fumes were overwhelming. Also... they rent rooms by the hour! Yikes. "My family and I had an amazing experience during our stay. The staff was amazing and super friendly. Hotel and rooms were very clean. Loved their wednesday happy hour, they had lots of snacks, appetizers and drinks(both alcoholic and nonalcoholic). Our flight back home was super early and they were able to accommodate us and provide shuttle service to the airport. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Costa Rica."
