"Staff was very efficient and friendly, delicious breakfast made to the order, front desk friendly and knowledgeable, cleaning staff was perfect. Beautiful cozy historic building close to all touristic spots. "

"Staff were great and the food and beverage options in the hotel were good. The area around the hotel is a little dangerous. Better to take Uber to get around. The room I was in was very noisy especially early in the morning."
"Genuinely one of the most jarring stays I’ve ever had to date. Don’t believe the pictures; the air conditioned comfort penthouse advertised does not have windows in the walls of the apartment, and was barely ‘indoors’ much less ‘air conditioned’. There is a single room with air conditioning. The room itself has a broken window that does not enable to close the window which makes the air conditioning pointless. "It is a perfect place to enjoy the UNESCO World Heritage Pelourinho neighborhood. It is a historical house nicely converted to hotel. The room was small but adequate for two persons. There was always hot water and good pressure. Everything worked fairly well considering it is an old building. There is a loud nightclub on one side but it didn’t stay open very late. It seemed like the whole area pretty much shuts down completely by about 11 pm even on weekends. I would stay there again if I ever return to Salvador da Bahia. Breakfast was adequate. People working there were particularly pleasant. There is a lot of police presence in the area so you feel pretty secure outside at least until about 11 pm. "
"The check in was fast and efficient. The staff was excellent; Isabella and Erik were outstanding, so friendly and helpful. They were able to answer all questions, Erik made great recommendations for dining and sightseeing. He also had a slow draining sink in my room fixed right away."
"Staff and owner are AMAZING! Best customer service anywhere on our 18 day trip. Breakfast was FANTASTIC, location looks odd but is in a perfect spot just off the square. Police presence 24 hrs a day every 2 blocks. Very safe. Exchanged dollars for Reals at the hotel and they gave a very fair rate. Love this place! "
