"Very pleasant two day stay in the Saint-Malo region away from the crowded coast for a couple and a golden retriever. Staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. It is set in the grounds of an abbey with extensive, well-maintained grounds overlooking a lake. It's a great place to relax before and after visiting Saint-Malo. The premises have been carefully removated while retaining as much of the heritage as possible. We opted on one evening for the no choice six course menu which was developed...

"Although this is a golf resort, non-players are made to feel just as welcome. The restaurant serves great food, (didn’t have breakfast). Rooms are very spacious as are the shower rooms. There is a mini fridge with complimentary still and sparkling water. Decor is stylish and my ground floor room had a terrace overlooking the pool and lake. Absolutely love this hotel and all the staff are super friendly."

The property is absolutely gorgeous (including the pool), the service is top-notch (what could be cozier than welcome sables and turndown service?), and Pourquoi Pas is one of the best meals I’ve ever had the privilege to enjoy. It’s downright charming to walk down to the Sunset Bar, Dinard village or the Clair de Lune. It’s honestly flawless, and an incredible value for money. "
