"We booked a room that was supposed to come with a king bed and pullout couch. When we got to the room it was a twin bed with a pullout couch. Super inconvenient to find out after we checked into the room. After we spoke to the front desk, they moved us to another hotel nearby. We appreciated the change however they moved us to an older lodge that was not very clean and needs a lot of maintenance. "
"Off season so the “hotel” was closed. We were staying in the “residency” in a 2 bedroom suite.
Still, at $1200/night you think they’d try. Or close completely.
They told us we needed an appointment to use the gym. We tried to make an appointment for two days by calling and emailing with no response.
Housekeeping was knocking on our door every morning before 8:30.
Everything closed. No room service. Fine, but can someone answer the phone?
Staff did call us morning of checkout to...

"The room was spotless and well appointed. The beds were comfy. We thought the room was a little cool when we walked in, 61, but soon figured out how to turn the heat up.
We didn;t use the pool nor the restaurant but the shuttle service was awesome when the weather turned cool and rainy."
"Nice smaller hotel. We loved it! Staff was great! Clean and easy walk to downtown! Breakfast very nice and wine at dinner time. We definitely would stay again!"
"Basic condo/apt complex exterior. Interior clean ample and well stocked. Modern design is most parts 7 foot ceiling a bit claustrophobic! 2 towels in 1 bathroom and only 1 towel in the other. But just 2 of us so ok. Very quiet and very close to city market and downtown. Walking and biking so perfect. Wish they could send the entry code a day or so earlier due to my limited email access!Overall a fair value and good spot for 3 nights! Was able to leave my bags for a few hours in the unlocked and often umanned front office!"
"The Hotel Jerome just keeps getting better and better. I grew up around the Roaring Fork Valley, so have seen various iterations of this hotel over my life, but I think this one might be its best life yet! The hotel is decorated perfectly, the rooms are spacious, but the staff are where it really shines!! Peter on the front desk absolutely made our stay - he always had a smile for us, but, uniquely, made you feel as if he had a vested interest in the enjoyment of your holiday. It didn’t feel like he was just putting on a nice face for his shift - he seemed a genuinely caring guy who went above and beyond for everyone he interacted with. He very kindly arranged for a little extra gift for us when we left which was just the cherry on top! We did have a little confusion with our luggage which took about 6 hours to find its way to our room, but the cocktails in the main bar and the lovely servers while we were waiting made us forget the hassle from that! It’s obviously a luxury hotel that comes with a luxury price but think Hotel Jerome justifies it with their attention to detail and exceptional employees. It often reminded me of an American version of Gleneagles and I think the new GM (who is also lovely, of course!) will continue to see it go from strength to strength. We can’t wait to come back!"
