"Our room was spotless and could not fault it. A little sparse with tea and coffee. Overall appearance from outside let down the total experience and could do with a little more maintenance and a gardener to improve the look of the area. However I was pleased with our visit which is the third time this year. I would use the hotel again as it's ideal for our needs visiting the area."

"A completely 5-star experience. Every member of staff was friendly, cheerful and helpful. Valet parking as standard, slick and efficient reception, immaculate room which was serviced at least twice per day, beautiful pool, steam room and sauna. The grounds were immaculate and a joy to explore. Both restaurants served top class meals. Total luxury from end to end. That all comes with a sizeable price tag, and service charge on everything, but the experience is worth every penny. We personally recommend booking early for the restaurants and Spa treatments, you can do this way in advance of your visit. We treated ourselves to a massage at the Elan Spa and it was professional and very relaxing. Highly recommend."

"The Cromwell Arms was an amazing historic site. The food, pub, and service were outstanding. The grounds and outdoor seating area was beautiful. No A/C and a thin mattress were the only things keeping this from property from receiving an excellent rating. To be fair, the listing did not indicate A\C, so we booked knowing this:)."

"The cottage is a lovely place to stay, comfortable beds and lovely bedding. The kitchen was equipped with everything anyone would need, even picnic baskets and cooling blocks. Loads of games, movies and books and even a piano for evening entertainment… or there’s the beautiful pub and pub garden right next door… a lovely place to spend a few hours, eat, drink and take in the views. Highly recommend "
