"Property and room were nice. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, the property was in good shape. One issue was quite a bit of noise traveled through what seemed like the floors from our neighbors room, as in we kept kept hearing their footsteps at night and the next morning. Our only other concern was the 10am check-out time (instead of the traditional 11am everywhere else). Other than those things it was a nice stay."
Wimberley Hill Country Retreat – Pond, Pool, Hot Tub & Firepit Under the Stars
10/10 Excellent
"The pictures understate the impressive property. The three buildings arrangements is ideal. The party barn has a large kitchen with two ranges and fully stocked with utensils, plates, etc. It has 30' shuffleboard, ping pong and pool table. It has a nice outdoor area to sit and chat next to a portable fire place, play washers or cornhole while listening to music on the sonos speaker system. All this without disturbing the early evening sleepers in the two other houses. There is plenty of acreage to go for a walk or play Frisbee, a nice pool, and jacuzzi for late evening relaxation. The host was very responsive, within minutes. The three buildings were spotless. Mattresses in the main house and cottage were amazing. The two bunk rooms in the party barn was ideal for the kids. It is also pet friendly which allowed us to take our 8 pound dog.It was truly an amazing property. We will be back."

A Dog-Friendly Family Resort awaits you in the quiet Texas Hill Country
10/10 Excellent
"Really lovely place! The home is super comfy and roomy!! The pups loved the place! Lots of wildlife and a cool breeze every morning and evening! Location was perfect to explore so many little places around us!! The owners have been thoughtful in design and execution of this sweet place!!"
"This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first. It’s a beautiful home with plenty of space and the pool and outdoor living area were perfect for making memories with our family. Our three grandbabies had an amazing time!Just a couple of maintenance suggestions: the master shower still has an issue with the hot water. It works but you have to adjust the faucet just right, so replacing the shower faucet may help. We also noticed a few outdoor light bulbs were out and the outdoor kitchen sink no longer has running water. Outdoor area is amazing but definitely lacked cleanliness; mopping and dusting before visitors arrive would be my recommendation.None of these things took away from our family fun. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay and we’d gladly come back again."
Hidden Hills I Family Vacation, Hot tub, Sleeps 24, 56 scenic acres for hiking!
8/10 Good
"We loved the house and surroundings. There was lots of room and activities to entertainour large family of 16. We were disappointed to find only 8 forks and knives, and 1 drying towel in the kitchen. The outdoor Gazebo was a wonderful place to enjoy the lovely scenery and deer who visited us regularly. However the rug was filthy, with a used cigar and crushed, nasty debris. We swept the debris and cigar away but could not clean the carpet. Also there was no power for the fan and lights under the Gazebo. The water in the tub in the master bathroom was completely brown and left a dark sediment when drained.Aside from these inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and if these issues are remedied would recommend it as a great family getaway."
"We had a wonderful stay. The place was spotless and nestled away in a quiet spot, which was exactly what we were looking for. There was plenty of bird watching, and being able to walk down to the river was a real highlight. The hosts were fantastic! Everything was outlined clearly, from check-in to check-out and all the details on using the amenities. They were responsive and polite throughout. Overall, it was a great experience, and we had a relaxing time not having to worry about a thing. Highly recommend!"
