"Descent guesthouse in a good location near enough to everything but not loud and crazy. Within a 15 minute walk to bus station, 5-10 minutes away from food choices and banks etc. For this price hotels would be in worse shape so better to stay here. "Very close to Monestaries/Birthplace. Our 2 beds were not available so they showed us some other options. The semi-private cottage was lovey but w/o a fridge. WiFi was strong and gardens were well maintained. Dining room communication was difficult on 1st night but better on other days. Recommend ordering off menu with no special requests or questions. One receptionist was quite helpful…fluent in English. She arranged bag breakfast & transit Non-Stay Note: driver from hotel to border was great but 1 from border to Gorakhpur, India was quite aggressive w/horn & passing cars unsafely."
