"We had a wonderful visit only marred by problems of cleanliness in our room. The reception staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. They were friendly, helpful and when they said something would be done, it was. The food was excellent and service prompt but unobtrusive. Will definitely return. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay. Room was more than adequate for us, liked the 'last orders' close at 10pm during the week. Evening and breakfast meals were superb, maybe could provide one, or two, extra real ale choices, (but that's just me), and all staff seemed cheerful and happy in their work, especially Becky."
