I wish I'd been able to stay longer at the Hotel Morjan: it was such a great choice. I paid a little extra for a 'river view' room, and I was delighted I did. Sitting, watching the river, especially as the light faded and the fortress lit up in the evening was so lovely. Even in the mornings when there was misty fog the view was stunning. Stayed three nights at Mecure Koblenz, I would recommend upgrading to a riverview room. The room was comfortable and it was a bonus to be able to open the window to photograph all the barges and river boats. Breakfast was quite expensive so didn't have it but evening meals were really excellent and compared pricewise with outside restaurants. Reception and bar/dining room staff friendly and helpful. Great service and position

Small rooms. But very Clean. Parking available for a small fee. Breakfast varied and plentiful. situation good for walk into the old town

Themed room fit-out (Hollywood) was very appealing. Excellent location in city centre next to Muenzplatz with its very good restaurant options. Short walk to the Rhine. Parked at a Parkhaus (paid) 5 minutes walk away which was good and convenient once we'd found it.
