"Nothing could have prepared us for how special and unique this location was. The home lies in a stone village on an enchanted mountain woven with waterfalls and mists. The host was gracious, has an excellent kitchen for cooking, and a special set of fireplaces to keep you warm in winter. Traveled with a small dog too, who also very much enjoyed this magical spot. We couldn't have been happier with every aspect of our stay. Perfetto!"

"Wow!!! Prato Sornico is an absolutely stunning village nestled near the top of the Vallemaggia with hiking paths and wild swimming holes on your doorstep. The house is beautiful and historic with a wonderful view to the mountains from the terrace. We are an adult family of 5 and the house is separated out perfectly so that we could all have our own space but the living room was great for group activities. The house was also well stocked. The only downside is the low ceilings and doorways!"
