"Misleading advertisement and management didn’t respond when we complained. I booked a cabin via hotels.com at Finca el Mazo for my family including our two young children. It was advertised as being family friendly with lots of activities including swimming pool, football, games room and basketball. When we arrived, it was apparent there was an organised camp of maybe 100 teenagers including a stage, amplifiers, loud music and cheering etc. While this caused us no distress during the daytime,...

"Magnifica "

"This is a fantastic little B&B. The lady running the place was ever so friendly, helpful and patient with our efforts to communicate in Spanish. Each room has its own private entrance, so you feel like you have your privacy. Although there's no air conditioning, you can manage the summer temperatures somewhat by keeping the shutters down and the windows cracked open. The "lavender room" we stayed in had heart-shaped rugs and pillows, and even a heart-shaped bath. It was great! Breakfast...

"Staff and management excellent "

"Booked a night here as it was reasonably close to Santander where we were sailing into. It was easy to find. The room was very nice, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. We had dinner at the hotel which was excellent and a good breakfast. The gentleman on duty overnight at reception was especially helpful when we needed some assistance. We had a good stay and would happily use again"

"Great views"

"Beautiful setting, gorgeous building, lovely grounds, close to Santander, Great room, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast, have I sold it to you yet? Highly recommend."

"The hotel is situated right next to the beach, so there are amazing views. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent and if you want a relaxing beach holiday, this is for you. Also, a really good bar nearby bar close by, suitable for all ages."

"Very nice location close to beach and a small local city center with many options for dining. Well suited for either relaxing at the pool or the beach. Very good breakfast buffet with many choices. "

"Del apartamento no tenemos queja alguna, simplemente que hay varios pisos y hasta que no llegas allí no sabes cuál te ha tocado, y solo se puede subir por escaleras. El spa un poco más mediocre y poco cuidado, restos de arena tanto en la piscina como en los jacuzzis, más de la mitad de los chorros de los jacuzzis no funcionaban, y la cascada de la piscina climatizada tampoco."

"Estancia agradable"

"Excellent. Would stay again."

"Hotel was beautiful. Lovely dog friendly room rather apartment, very modern. Service was excellent, lovely friendly reception staff."

"Property is far from the Santander city, about 20mins. There is no view from the balcony. Only good thing was pool and jacuzzi."

"Nice rustic hotel. Confortable bed. "
