Book Town of Thurman Hotels

"This was nice for a short getaway in the woods. Bonus points for allowing us to bring our dog. It was our first time "glamping". The place is clean, remote and exactly how it was described. It was just not our thing."

"Great overall experience and more spacious than it looks in photos. Host was very good with customer service. Bathroom had a few issues to start out due to it being newly remodeled but all issues should be good. Backyard was spacious as well and there was a lot of room for backyard games. Pool is smaller than it looks in photos."

"As long as you have your personal items you are set to enjoy your time off grid it was very relaxing and beautiful"

"It was nice quite and very peaceful definitely would go again"

"The cabin was beautiful, lots of natural light. There was a snow storm the day we arrived and they had come and plowed the large drive the next night so we didnt need to shovel much. Everything was very clean and the host was very helpful and responsive! Would definitely stay again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here! It was well-worth it, and there were many interesting places to check out nearby! (Make sure to go to the Lake George Mystery Spot, it's super odd.) It's the perfect spot for stargazing, you can see most of the sky without being impeded by trees or other mountains, and there's almost no light pollution. There were two of us staying here, and while you could technically fit more people, it would be a really tight squeeze, so I wouldn't recommend it. Great...

"Easy location for men’s weekend "

"Quiet surroundings and quiet neighbors makes for a restful vacation spot, close to many nature trails and lakes and rivers."

"Pictures need to be updated . The deck is older than shown . The farm house is closer to the road than appears . It could definitely use some TLC. The best part was the deck overlooking the river ."

"Our family had a great visit. The house is great and the property and outside space was awesome."

"Mouse droppings on the counter no pool supplies not able to park in the garage. No bicycles were provided even though it said they were the porch was very rickety spongy and spots. I felt like I was going to fall through bugs all through the house. Internet was terrible."

"This was a great little apartment - close to amenities and w a beautiful view of the river! Would definitely recommend and stay again!"
