"We booked a 4 night stay in Agadir for our wedding anniversary. We emailed the hotel for our airport transfer which they kindly arranged without any issues. Mr Houcine called us personally the day before our travel to reassure us that all was ok. On arrival to Agadir airport, our driver was on time, warm & welcoming. A lovely start! We arrived at Sofitel & was greeted with genuine warmth by Mr Houcine & his team. Fatima was helpful, answered any questions we had & showed us to our lovely room which was perfect for the two of us, not too big, not too small with a good sized balcony. It was very clean & comfortable & met our expectations. The hotel sits on a large beautiful space & the grounds are very well maintained & calming. A superb place to unwind & relax. All the staff & security were attentive, professional & friendly. They represented well & are a credit to the Sofitel brand. The restaurants & food are of a high standard with a good variety of quality food. The prices are very reasonable with good portion sizes. We also had the pleasure of using Thalassa Sea & Spa. The team & therapists were so nice, welcoming & were very informative. The facilities were excellent, very clean & hygienic. We were blown away by the level of service, attention & kindness we received, when to our surprise, our room was decorated to wish us a Happy Anniversary - a truly lovely gesture which made our day even more special, thank you! It was a real pleasure to stay at this wonderful hotel. "

"After reading some other reviews we were concerned about our holiday. However anything we had read was completely unfounded. We had a fabulous stay here and would highly recommend. The staff are friendly and helpful and reception were extremely on the ball when we did have a small issue and it was rectified immediately. The whole place appeared spotless and our room was maintained with no complaints whatsoever. The food and drinks were in abundance with lots of choice. If we were to hopefully provide constructive critisicm we would maybe suggest to update towels and bathrobes - whilst perfectly adequate they are well used and becoming a little too worn out just to maintain the “look” of the hotel. Also maybe open up a little more outdoor seating for the restaurants and whilst we ate outside all the time which was our choice and was great, it did look a little crowded inside, or maybe swop Alfredo and al a carte restaurant over ? The animation team seems to be busy but we did not participate - our choice. The sunbeds were plentiful and the leather sofas made great chill out seating - fantastic idea. Would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay away"

"The staff are the star of the hotel. Samia at reception very helpful very friendly, she worked tirelessly to make our stay enjoyable, and Rizlane too. The nurse Salwa was caring about my son, when he was unwell. Sofiane the chef was very hospitable, he cooked special dishes for my unwell son. The room service and cleaners were cleaning the room every day, very professional. Achraf and entertainment team were amazing and full of fun, they kept us very engaged with lots of activities. "
