"What a lovely place to spend a short break. The selling point of this hotel is the location and the views of the lake. It’s just so convenient and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go without worrying about transport. We did have a slight drainage issue in our room but were moved to another room without fuss and the reception staff were helpful and accommodating. "The property was very centrally located to quite a few points of interest, namely, Piran and Lucija. We had friends/family in both cities. Both walkable. Excellent choices of shopping, grocery, and restaurants."

"This hotel is a classic old spa hotel. The grand entrance on the park side is largely closed off, with a new glass atrium entry on the back alley. But it's worth peaking into the old grand foyer and even the music hall on the top floor. The rooms are fine, although our room for three was just a queen bed so our daughter slept in the loveseat. The breakfast and dinner are included in the rate. It is all right, but there are very limited options. The meals seemed geared for large groups...

"Great location, right in the center of the old town. Walking distance to everywhere. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast was good and with fair amount of varieties. The only downside is the hotel condition which is rather old and needs some tender loving care."

"The value for the property is my main issue. Expect to be up charged for everything. They don’t even provide lotions or anything spa related in the room. They charge extra for the sauna and the hours are very limited (opens at noon! And closes early). Spa is more of an add on than a hotel experience. the breakfast was good and so was the location. Only recommend the lake view rooms otherwise your room overlooks a parking lot. The woman kindly offered an upgrade at check in but for a surcharge....
