The Oberoi is a beautiful property with very attentive staff. We stayed 14 nights & I believe the average is 5.I had no idea Turtle bay was so remote when the booking was made & as a result we found ourselves often in taxis usually destined for Grand Bay where we had some great Chinese dinners in a little back lane place recommended by Darmon, Oberoi chef. It was "100% local" accordingly to our taxi driver.Be prepared for an $80 return taxi fare. I cant take anything away from this property...

Loved that the villa was homely but luxurious, having its own personal pool in the back yard. The villa had all the requirements of a home and the washer/dryer was very useful. The location is great. Walkable to a handful of restaurants - Roots Spirit, Happy Rajah, Medium Rare Steakhouse and Jiva Coffee - All recommended. We stayed at this wonderful resort for a night last week- definitely not long enough. Everything was perfect. Exceptionally good and friendly service from everyone. The resort is at one end of the beach with its own bay. It felt very exclusive. Would love to go back one day.

We stayed for 4 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The guest relations team especially went above and beyond to ensure we had a great honeymoon. The resort is not cheap, but i believe to be worth the money. So save your pennies before you arrive so you can really enjoy your stay! The food is to die for! I cannot recommend a night at the floating bar and restaurant enough. Truly an enjoyable, one of a kind experience.

This is a beautiful property on the beachfront. Very clean with friendly and helpful staff. Food plentiful and delicious and nightly entertainment available but alternative eating venue available if a quiet meal wanted. Bus and taxis available and small supermarket and shops in walking distance. Only small difficulty was that they were not terribly familiar with Australian currency so difficult to change money on site and taxi drivers only accepted cash

Great amenities, high level of customer service and attention to detail. The front office manager Aldo was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. He made sure that everything were up to standard. Accessible eateries, 3 restaurants at the resorts. The resort is located at seafront with a beautiful view. I particularly loved the pool with a poolside bar which was very convenient

Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Beautiful venue but a car rental really helps as it’s a little isolated. Great treatments at the spa. The grandchildren loved the kids club, Jamala ensured they had a great time under her careful supervision. We did find the food and drinks quite expensive but good quality.

Hotel is perfect for a relaxing stress free holiday . Attentive staff warm and welcoming. The hotel is run by the best management team and reflex’s in the staff who work there. Couldn’t fault the dining experience well worth going half board.

Our room was clean and very well equipped- our thanks to Geetanjalee. All the staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived and this continued throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent with so many options available for all dietary requirements. The setting is superb with spectacular views over various pools towards the ocean - and the sunsets were amazing.

A lovely hideaway on the island of Mauritius, that is both peaceful and relaxing.There is plenty to do if you wish by way of inclusive water activities,or if you wish to kick back and relax in the sun, read a book, etc, this is also the ideal place, as there are plenty of secluded spots. Staying for our honeymoon we were looked after from the moment we arrived. The staff were quite responsive and assisted where requested. We were often approached for any assistance. Our villa was directly opposite the beach with direct views of the water. (This although beautiful did not provide much privacy for our personal time.) Dining experiences were great although a standard bottle of wine usually AUD30 was inflated to approx AUD120! A 400% increase!! That was a joke. Water at breakfast...

Absolutely one of the ultimate experiences in my life. Witn Le Mourne mountain as backdrop trough out your stay and round the corner access to hiking trail to scale Le Mourne with breathtaking views. Swim to bar with the nicest and coolest bar staff imaginable An absolute must do. All eating facilities simplify outstanding.
