Cabins in a Clearing is a step up; though the bathroom arrangements are as described above. There are porta potties but quite away from two of the three cabins. That isn't fun. The cabins are clean with a comfortable bed and linens, and while there is no electricity there are battery powered lamps indoors and a protected area to charge your phones and laptops. Don't...

"If you’re desperate and need a place to park, there’s a good slab of cement for you. People definitely permanently live here in their campers too, and their arms length away from your spot, so be prepared to make some friends….the owner stopped replying to me so they don’t get a great review. I was looking for a place to camp, not a place to park, so please if you’re looking for the same thing, this is not it. I arrived, laughed, and left. Didn’t even get out of my car."

"What we liked most about our stay was the river trickling behind our cabin, the frogs peeping at night and a nice porch overlooking it all and the location was great for exploring the area, close to highways, hocking hills. Overall, a great place to relax after a day of exploring."
