"Our luggage in the room was packed - while we were out someone entered our room and ransacked each of our suitcases. Nothing was taken but left us feeling unsafe to leave "

"Had problem with heated towel rail on arrival, staff attended immediately, the rail tripped out again but staff sorted just before midnight. First class service.
Breakfast top notch
Service and Staff were superb in all areas of the hotel and Pro shop,
Golf course in great condition resulting in a very enjoyable round
This was our fourth year and we will be back again in 2027."

"Danny's flat is clean, comfortable, spacious and in a wonderful location for exploring the best of Oxford. I would recommend this lovely place to anyone who is wanting to visit Oxford with their family, our teens were delighted with the space and comforts of home."

Helen Browning's Royal Oak was exactly as pictured on the booking site. The rooms were very quirky and comfortable. Definitely not the biggest room we have stayed in but perfectly functional. The communal area more than made up for this and gave us somewhere to chill out. Dinner and breakfast were really good as was the atmosphere in the bar. It is off the main highway a bit but well worth the effort.

Quad room was large and had everything we needed including a fridge. The bathroom was spacious and modern. The buses were easy to navigate and an easy trip to the centre of town. Only a three minute walk to bus stop. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and you are sat in a beautiful conservatory overlooking the back garden watching the birds and squirrel’s. I would definitely stay again.

A lovely place to stay . Unfortunately no air conditioning in this heat . Had a fan in the room which helped a bit staff were helpful and we had a lovely meal at the Boat House . Great location.

Comfortable room, great shower, excellent info from Shivam about rules regarding driving into Oxford and options for dinner. He also helped us out with a large ice bucket as the room didn’t have a fridge.
Breakfast was great and the parking was free! Very happy with our stay.

Good location. Stairwell to rooms had loose handrail but everything else was good.
Good entertainment in room. Available food was fine but got brioche bun when ordered a bap.

The Ferryman's Cottage have cute rooms, which have both heating and cooling if required. We had to keep blinds closed as the pub guests walk past our windows.
The bed was comfy and the nespresso machine was very much appreciated.
The only drawback is the sound. When other guests are going to their rooms it sounds like they are literally in the same room. We could hear people taking in the room above, but with earplugs all was well. They weren't noisy.
The food had been talked up and we had high...

Modern and refurbished hotel, front of house desk and it was air conditioned. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Breakfast cooked to your preference.

Faded glory, would have seemed luxurious in the 90s. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, but no fridge (definitely a cupboard where it used to be), no cast facility on the TV, tv had a damaged area of the screen.
Breakfast was great, lovely coffee from the machines.
Staff were a little dispirited, but nice enough.

Renovated spacious room with river view. Some parts of hotel still under refurbishment. Full breakfast inc and we chose to have dinner in restaurant. Not a huge variety but vegetarian lasagna & fish was good. A great base for visiting local areas of interest. A pretty spot with a nice walk along canal.

We only stayed here for one night but loved it!
Timely communication, good directions and the welcome was very friendly.
The kids (and adults) loved all the animals and being able to visit them when they liked.
The welcome box of groceries was awesome and very well used.
The cabin is quite new so the fit-out is fresh (the bathroom could use a mirror beside the basin).
Top marks for providing the kids bunk, which they loved, but must be a nightmare to make up!

We loved the old country pub and hospitality. After a quick walk around the village we settled in for a few ales a fantastic dinner ad a good night sleep. Our breakfast was included which was fantastic as it was a full English breakfast cooked to perfection. Loved our time there and would highly recommend for anyone
