I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast is simple and tasty and sets you up well for the day. It’s served on your own balcony which for us had a lovely view of Ella Rock. The guest house is located very close to the Main Street which his filled with restaurants and shops. The walk there and back is very steep, but you are in Ella!! The lovely man who runs this place is so friendly, helpful and welcoming. If you want a local feel this is the place for you.

This place is a little gem. Super helpful owners Cynthia and Roshan and excellent breakfast, in fact the best breakfast I had in Sri Lanka. Cynthia and Roshan were so nice and went out of the way to help guests. The following morning, Roshan even drove me to the Colombo bus stop some 2 kms away. The place is within walking distance from the Ella train station. What's more, if you can play a little bit of piano, you can play the piano at the place. There you have it! I will highly recommend...

Highly recommended! Beautiful place, close to everything. Walking distance to town, train station and Ella Rock. The food was great and available at any time. The host was amazingly friendly and helpful. Anything I wanted to do, he would make it happen. He arranged a safari at Udawalawe for me and even a reserved train ticket! No taxi driver would come to this place as road access is terrible , need urgent road repairs into access to this place Lots of incomplete properties around this place making less attractive surroundings Tons of banana trees obstructing views, requires bit of landscaping and tidy up the garden, to make more attractive, planting more flower beds and native trees make visitors smile , looks like rundown place

The accommodation was basic but comfortable, and the hosts were very welcoming. Access may be a bit challenging for anyone with mobility or stair climbing problems, but even for an older person such as I, the walk to/from the village was fine after the first time. The location is convenient for shops and restaurants , and very close to the railway station.

Great little friendly hotel in beautiful Ella. Walking distance to town, restaurants and pubs. The hill Is a little steep to walk but if you find it hard you can get a tuk tuk for a couple of dollars. The room was clean and tidy and had a nice balcony. Staff really helpful. Totally recommend.
