"We've stayed at this hotel several times over the years. The location connected to the Mall of America is excellent, and the front desk staff have always been friendly, professional, and helpful. The biggest disappointment is that the pool has been closed every single time we've stayed here. It's frustrating because it's one of the amenities that helps us choose this hotel. Our room was generally clean, although we did find a random sock left in the closet. We also arrived to an empty tissue box and not enough towels. We called the front desk twice for both items. Additional towels eventually arrived and were soft and high quality, but we never received the tissues, despite really needing them. On a positive note, the beds were very comfortable, the shower had good water pressure with plenty of hot water, and I really liked the toiletries. The liquid hand soap and lotion dispensers were a nice upgrade from the typical hotel products. I also appreciated seeing a carbon monoxide detector in the room, as guest safety is clearly a priority. Overall, this is a comfortable hotel in a great location. Better follow-through on guest requests and having the pool open during at least one of our visits would make the experience much better."

"The location really can’t be beat. Fantastic shower pressure and a comfy bed made for a fine stay if that is what you are looking for. However, I had no reservation ahead of time but walked in after fining a great rate online. The front desk quoted me a rated that was 27% higher and stated she couldn’t match the online price but I could book it online and check in. Ok. I booked the reservation on Expedia and then proceeded to wait at the counter for 10 mins while she was helping someone on the phone. It seems more staff would be helpful as a small line formed behind me. Two reasons for the four stars along with the check in: the view—it was of a rooftop with utilities. Not in the distance, just right out the window, no other thing in sight. No sidewalk, no other building, just a rooftop (I was on floor two). Lastly, the hallways were confusing to find elevators and parking ramps. This is the only hotel I’ve ever been to that does not have signage for these items. No sign stating rooms 100-125 to the right, 125-150 to the left. Seems so basic and was a big miss for me."

"This hotel is very close to the mall, and you can walk to the mall in 5 minutes. front desk staff are very patient and helpful in answering questions. one card operated guest laundry near the entrance is very convenient for small load of 3 days clothing of family of 3. swimming pool and hot tub are great plus. breakfast are yummy and good variety of choices. Room was clean and the King with sofa bed room we stayed has a door separating the two space making the sleeping at night very calm and not intervening with each other. I would definitely stay again."
