Our room was exactly as advertised, clean, well appointed and had an incredible view. We requested a last minute early check in so we could make a local tour which was accommodated without charge. Definitely would stay here again!

I arrived at reception and was met by a very friendly gentleman who engaged in pleasant chit chat and showed me to our room. The room was immaculate and the decor subtle and fresh. The room had a table, chairs and a comfortable settee. A flat screen TV and a CD player with a selection of DVDs. The bed was extremely comfortable with immaculately laundered and presented bedding. A welcoming and lovely spot to stay in Picton. We stayed in the one of the cottages and it was excellent. Very comfortable rooms, very private and had everything we needed. A delicious breakfast too !

We loved the fact we could watch the amazing sunrise this morning from our room. The breakfast was great and so was the company at breakfast, the other guests.

From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out we could not fault any part of our stay. We booked two rooms for a party of four, one of which has mobility issues. We were accommodated to the fullest but were also given rooms next to each other and close to the entrance of the hotel which seems like a small thing but actual meant a great deal. The rooms were clean and warm and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is pretty great too - 5 minutes walk away from Tahunanui...

Good stay in a beautiful location and helpful friendly staff

Only a 5 minute walk from the main street. Was only there one evening but comfortable, clean and although my room was next to the motorway I slept fine throughout. Massive thank you to the owner who saved me from missing my bus! Not only did she bring my left luggage down to the bus stop last minute she carried on driving to pick me up and bring me back. Life saver!

Three of us had a lovely stay at the Alpine View, which is just a few minutes drive from town. The owners are hilarious with their cheeky banter back and forth and they keep the rooms impeccably clean. This is a great budget priced venue that far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.
