"Our room was small but very clean. It had all the usual amenities for a motel, plus a small refrigerator and microwave. Beds were very comfortable. Balcony overlooking Lake Superior was small but still much enjoyed; as others mentioned, the balconies of each room are close. We had a superb breakfast at a nearby restaurant which provides a 10% discount to Cliff Dweller guests. We arrived late, and the staff had contacted us in advance with instructions for the key (on which they followed through)."

"Our family of four stayed for 4 nights. Our unit was clean, staff were nice and helpful. We loved hiking the trails at the nearby state parks. We enjoyed stargazing on our patio in the evenings. The pool and hot tub were also great! Our unit was quiet, so we had no trouble getting rest after long days outside. "

"The resort was full to capacity but was still very peaceful. No blaring music or noisy vehicles. It was my 7th time there this year and is very consistent in good service and cleanliness. Nothing fancy, no frills. The restaurant has good food although extremely noisy in the summer but that is how their money is made. "

"The service at the Grill was utterly chaotic, with items delivered out of order or not at all until servers (there were several, and it was never clear whether anyone was in charge) were reminded. The food at the Grill was unremarkable at best. Service, food, and prices were much better at the bakery."
