"My stay was peaceful and relaxing. Just what I needed. The room exceeded my expectations with a lovely view of Superior. It was the perfect place to watch the clouds role in over the big lake with my coffee and a sketch book. You could tell November was on the horizon. "

"I was very nervous after reading the reviews but we had a great stay. It's nothing fancy but the staff was great, the room had a beautiful view and it served its purpose. This location alone is worth the price we paid, which you're not going to find cheaper in Grand Marais. I mean, you're next door to World's Greatest Doughnuts! Maybe we just got lucky with our specific room but I think alot of the people in these reviews expected a 5 Star resort and just love to complain, but you get what you pay for! I would stay again! "

"the house was beautiful with lots of room for all 6 of us. our family had so much fun playing games in the evening. the dining table was big enough for all of us for dinner or games. Another great family vacation!"
