"Not any information on Resturant’s nearby Which is badly needed Hotel is difficult to find it is actually called Chateau Pontet "

"Excelente estancia.

"What a paradise! Lovely big room in a gorgeous house with a superb rural setting. The swimming pool area is just perfect! The owners couldn’t have been more helpful, and recommended a great restaurant by the estuary in the evening. Great breakfast ended a wonderful stay!"

"Wonderful host and experience!"

"Wonderful guesthouse. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The decoration is old French style, but done with taste. I highly recommend it. Tack så mycket!"

"Beautiful family run property with great vineyard next door. "

"I would never go back again. I felt insecure in the area where the hotel is. Very old and lacking basic maintenance. I had my breakfast included and they told me I didn’t. I learned about that after we left"

"The location of the property is great, close to Blaye and easy to travel further afield from. Very thankful for air conditioning, but property could do with a little update. Missing some basic kitchen items and bedding could do with updating. David was very helpful and a great host."

"Pros: L'hôte bien accueillant c'est propre"

"We were given such a warm welcome by John Paul and Isobel, we were welcomed with a cool glass of iced tea on such a hot day and given a really thorough tour of the grounds and our accommodation. The house it’s self is superb - very well appointed with everything we could possibly need. Very comfortable beds and gorgeous outside deck space with gas BBQ. The gardens were lovely to look out over and I can’t rate the pool area highly enough. The pool area was immaculate and so comfortable to lounge...

"This is property is a hidden gem!! Fabulous house, clean has all amenities you require. Lovely hosts. We had a magical Christmas family holiday.will definitely be back. Thank you "
