"Bristol Hotel closed as i found out after booking, however staff contacted me and offered better room right on Baku's richest shopping street (Nizami) owned by same owner as Bristol was, I can not say enough good things about how the staff handled this and how far they went out of way to offer top service! Thanks, Spacibo!"

The staff is nice and very helpful (but occasionally they have someone working who only speaks Azerbaijani and not English or Russian)....

"Номер большой, чистый, комфортный, главное- тихо не смотря, что это центр города и активной ночной жизни. Очень доброжелательный молодой человек нас встретил и решил все наши проблемы. Спасибо ему. Рекомендую."

Safe did not open and worked erratically once taken care of by hotel staff. Safe is not attached to anything so you can pick it up and walk away with it. Breakfast was included but never delivered even if requested. When calling...
