"Staff were great helping get checked in, also the restaurant and bar staff and cleaning staff were nice and helpful during our meals there. Had the elk burger, would recommend! The room was easy to get too, did not have any issues with access or finding the room itself. Was a short stay but would stay here longer when I am ever back to check out the Grand Canyon again!"

"We did early check in when they emailed it to us. Made the check in process easier cause we got there later at night. However, we only got one key. I don’t know why my husband didn’t ask for another key for the room, but I went back and ask for another key. My boys and I did go to the Fitness Center. I wish they had more than one treadmill, but overall it was an okay fitness center for a hotel. This one had free weights so I can’t complain. The next morning we were getting ready to leave for the Grand Canyon when we got a knock at the door. My husband answered it and housekeeping said that the room was vacant. That should have been a red light for us to go check before leaving to the Grand Canyon, but we left without checking. We got back around 8:30pm that night and tried to get into our room with both keys. None of them worked. We had to go to the front desk and see what was going on. I have no idea how it happened but the computer had us in room 22 something or other. I was like if my stuff is missing we’re gonna have problems. Luckily, they were able to reprogram our keys for the original room the Mobil check in counter gave my husband when he first checked in. Thankfully our stuff was still in our room. Overall we like the hotel, but we will never use their mobile /online check in services again."

"It was a cute historic and convenient place to stay. Right along the rim you couldn’t ask for a better location. The rooms are what you would expect historic and old. Cute clawfoot tub, a fan that’s attempting to keep it cool and it’s a small room. Perfect for a night or two and is just alright"

"It was a good spot to stay for a late afternoon and early morning at the rim. The room was clean and well equipped and the staff were friendly and welcoming."

"Room was nice but view was disappointing. We expected a view of the Canyon since the hotel sits perpendicular to the rim, but we only had a view of the parking lot. We specifically asked for the best view available at check-in, and were told that a room was available on the 3rd floor (no elevator) that would have the best view. Overall the hotel was charming and we got to enjoy both sunset and sunrise right outside the hotel entrance."
