Gracious suite was clean and comfortable. Very comfortable bed and nice property.Lower level suite had a little noise from upstairs guests and road noise.
Excellent! My 2nd stay in 8 months. On the weekends the traffic can get a little noisy, but totally tolerable. Beautiful property and super comfortable beds
This place is so great for a couple reasons....privately owned and not a chain, super clean, cozy, close to town, scenic and lots of wildlife. The owners are awesome, the rooms are so unique - can't wait to go back again next year. Thank you!
The owners were very accommodating when i let them know that we had addition guests with us because of our daughters wedding. Also, they were understanding when i let them know there would be a wedding photographer here while the bride got ready. They do advicate for their guests when it comes to parking . They want to make sure their guests have their parking. Parking is limited. Overall we had a great time. The location is not far from downtown Evergreen.
What a beautiful, peaceful retreat from the craziness of home. Tommy and Lisa were so helpful. The Enchanted Room provided us with everything we could want including a private deck and fire pit. We will be back
Exceeded expectations! In a great location close to the little downtown area of Evergreen. The hot tub was clean and a nice feature. The room was very clean. Lots of wildlife sighting. The pitcher of water in the mini fridge was a nice touch. Would recommend and would stay again!
This property was beautiful! My mom and I stayed here for a concert at Red Rocks, and we very much enjoyed our stay. The room was larger than a normal hotel room, and we loved its rustic mountain decor and hominess. We also loved all of the sitting areas around the property. We found it quiet and very comfortable, and the owner waited for us past the normal check-in time, and personally showed us to our room. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!
We loved our stay at the chalet and the town of Evergreen! We wish we would’ve had time to take advantage of the cool fire pit and hot tub. Queen bed was comfortable and the little fireplace/ stove in the room added warmth & ambience! You do need to choose between having a wonderful workspace or using the Murphy bed because it’s not practical to use both. With the Murphy bed down, the room would feel cramped. We liked having bath gel, shampoo and conditioner and dispensers in the small shower that reminded me of a cruise ship shower size, but met our needs just fine. it was so convenient having an end table, lamp, outlet and phone charger on each side of the bed! We really wished there was a fan in the room to have some moving air and a little noise to sleep better because it’s not real practical having the bathroom fan on all night since the light stays on with it. Our only real complaint was the lack of warmth and hospitality from Lisa from the moment we checked in, probably partly due to us forgetting to inform her that we were no longer needed an hour early check-in due to a late work schedule change. It would’ve been nice if we felt more welcome with less scolding & a long list of dos and don'ts both times we saw her. We are sweet and do not look like rule breakers, but it felt like we were treated that way from minute one. No guests! Would've loved area tips as it was our first time. Everything was very clean, charming and comfortable and that's the most important.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Dog chico is very friendly and doesn't bite... Female owner of property is very unfriendly, confrontational and does bite. Overwhelming cleaning smell when entering the room but were told we couldn't open the door for fresh air. Was told my friends 78 year old mother couldn't come over to drink coffee with us.
The Daisy suite is actually a very low ceiling basement. The windows in the living area are small windows and overlook the top of the trees (no garden view as their website states). The window in the kitchen overlooks the parking lot. I was very disappointed to find out that I was spending $250 per night to sleep in someone’s basement. I felt so claustrophobic that I wanted to leave the same day and just absorb the sunk cost. However, I stayed for the sake of my five year old. My son and I slept with two layers of clothes and socks on and were still cold even after increasing the temperature to 71F. I live in Denver in a 2600 sq foot park facing house, and the intent when I booked this place was to be closer to nature and relax. Sadly, ended up being claustrophobic in a dingy, cold basement.
For him, everything is an adventure. The hot tub was clean and my son liked walking around in their property in the morning.
